DocsNova Pro ("we," "our," or "us") operates the DocsNova Pro mobile application (the "App"). 1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

DocsNova Pro is designed to work primarily offline. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.

All PDF files you create, edit, scan, merge, split, compress, watermark, convert, lock, or unlock are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your files on any external server.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, certain limited information may be collected automatically through third-party services integrated into the App:

Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Advertising ID: A resettable identifier provided by Google Play Services, used to serve personalized advertisements.
Usage Data: General app interaction data such as screen views, session duration, and crash reports, collected to improve app stability and performance.
IP Address: Collected by third-party advertising services for the purpose of delivering region-appropriate advertisements.

1.3 Camera and Storage Access

The App requests camera permission only when you use the PDF Scanner feature to capture documents. The App accesses device storage only to read, save, and manage your PDF files. We do not access your contacts, location, microphone, call logs, or any other sensitive device data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information collected to:

Serve Advertisements: Display relevant ads through Google AdMob to support the free version of the App.
Improve App Performance: Analyze crash reports and general usage patterns to fix bugs and enhance the user experience.
Ensure App Functionality: Provide core features such as scanning, editing, viewing, and managing PDF files on your device.

We do not use your information to build personal profiles, track your behavior across other apps, or sell your data to third parties.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share limited, anonymized data only in the following circumstances:

5. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information collected through the App. Since all your PDF files and documents are stored locally on your device, the security of those files depends in part on the security of your device itself.

Please note that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Data Retention

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data retained by us. Any data collected by third-party services (such as AdMob) is retained according to their respective privacy policies and data retention practices.

Files stored locally on your device remain under your full control. You can delete them at any time through the App or your device's file manager.

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the DocsNova Pro mobile application (the "App") operated by DocsNova ("we," "our," or "us").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DocsNova Pro, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

DocsNova Pro is an Android application that provides PDF productivity tools, including but not limited to:

PDF scanning using device camera and gallery import
PDF viewing and reading
PDF editing (text annotations, drawing, and digital signatures)
Merging, splitting, and compressing PDF files
Locking and unlocking PDF files with passwords
Adding watermarks to PDF documents
Converting files to and from PDF format

All file processing is performed locally on your device. We do not upload, process, or store your files on any external server.

3. User Responsibilities

When using DocsNova Pro, you agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Not use the App to create, distribute, or store any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App.
Not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App.
Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App's functionality.
Not use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the App.
Ensure that any documents you scan, edit, or process through the App belong to you or that you have the necessary permissions to use them.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, graphics, logos, icons, and all related content, is the exclusive property of DocsNova and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

4.2 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all files, documents, and content that you create, import, edit, or process using the App. We do not claim any rights to your content.

You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of any content you create or process using the App.

5. Advertisements

The free version of DocsNova Pro is supported by advertisements served through Google AdMob. By using the free version, you agree to the display of advertisements within the App.

Advertisements may be targeted based on limited, non-personal information such as device type and general location. You can manage your ad preferences through your device's Google Ads settings.

6. Subscription Terms

6.1 Premium Plans

DocsNova Pro may offer premium subscription plans ("Premium") that provide additional features, an ad-free experience, or enhanced functionality.

6.2 Billing and Payment

Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play Store.
Payment is charged to your Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle after notice is provided.

6.3 Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for Premium subscriptions. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and you will be charged accordingly.

6.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play Store account settings.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to Premium features until the end of the paid period.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
We do not warrant that the results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable.
In no event shall DocsNova, its developers, officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, or any other damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not guarantee that PDF operations (merging, splitting, compressing, converting, etc.) will produce error-free results in all cases.
The App processes files locally on your device. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device malfunction, insufficient storage, user error, or any other cause outside our reasonable control.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your important files and documents.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DocsNova, its developers, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

Your use or misuse of the App.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
Any content you create, process, or distribute using the App.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may stop using the App and uninstall it from your device at any time. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through Google Play Store before uninstalling.

10.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to:

Violation of these Terms.
Engagement in illegal or harmful activities using the App.
Any conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, third parties, or our business interests.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your license to use the App is immediately revoked. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Disclaimer of Warranties, and Indemnification) shall continue to apply.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DocsNova operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.

Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DocsNova regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
